2008 Yukon: bolt in cargo area to remove carpet?

What is this bolt/part called? See attached. Red circle, back corners of cargo area on the carpet.

Replacing carpet in 2008 Yukon. Bolt is hard to remove, had to cut the carpet to remove around the bolt. May be rusted. Looks like it has a square shaped lock nut underneath next to spare. Not 100% certain on that.

Need to remove it so i can install new carpet properly...i think.

What am i missing?

I believe what your referring to are the rear tie down points... might want to try some pb blaster or even some heat on them to remove them..

Found an answer here. More torque, maybe some WD-40.

At least I'm not crazy after about 2-3 turns these bolts stopped turning. Will try again....
