Hello!

We just had our 2008 Denali AWD painted (her name is Liz Taylor because she's so pretty but has that deep voice) and she looks awesome. But we have 2 rims (8 spoke, 20" I believe) that were not taken very good care of (we are the 2nd owners) and are now delaminating chrome in several places.

I am having a hard time finding used rims or even new rims that are real and not some cheap knockoff stuff that is overpriced for the quality.

Any help would be appreciated! Part numbers or the like would be awesome. OF COURSE the dealership knows they can get them new at around $800 each....

you just have to hunt around. They are out there. I had a crack in one mine last fall. One junkyard wanted $220 for an old pitted and flaking wheel. Went to the next one and they had a perfect condition one for $80. It even had the tpms sensor still on it.

Yeah like they said hunt for them. Expand your searches to all the neighboring counties on craigslist. I found the exaxt set of these wheels for my 2006 for 600 bucks. And they were in immaculate condition. Some minor curb rash on a couple but not a single stretch of pitting or peeling. Granted the Goodyear tires were junk and had no tpms, but I got all that later. They came from the base of the mountain where i live. Also look for wheel shops that offer take offs, like where customers bought aftermarket wheels and then traded in their stocks. That's how I got mine.
