I have a 2008 Yukon that has been having some electrical issues. There are two instances of the related issue.
1) When the truck is running my aftermarket stereo nav system will reboot. As if the power was shortly disconnected.
2) Also while the truck is running, the stereo will reboot AND the rest of the electrical componets will reset (climate controller will set to 74 with AUX and PASS selected, the dash lights will cycle as if the vehicle has just been cranked).
These issues only happen about every couple of weeks, but when they do it seems that it will occur about 3 or 4 times over the course of a day.
Obviously the infrequency of the issue is something that prevents me from taking it to the dealer as I am sure they would want to be able to recreate the problem. I am also afraid that they will immedietley blame my aftermarket stereo/nav system. Has anyone experienced something similar that would suggest that they problem is with the vehicle and not the stereo.
Also, I purchased the truck CPO and the stereo was already installed so I cant say that the problem only started after the addition of the stereo.
