Just got nice new Michelins and now the interior of my truck is so much quieter. In the new quiet I can start to hear other noises.
Driving down the interstate on a breezy day I noticed a kind of thumping noise over the sound of my stereo. I muted that and listened. The thumps aren't regular by any means. I started to notice them more when I was near other vehicles and not as much when I was running through clear air.
I'm pretty sure what I'm hearing is the cabin vents. There's usually a passive cover to keep air from flowing back in and that's what I hear slamming closed.
Am I the only one to get this?
