Pretty sure it also requires your BCM to be reprogrammed. Serge did this mod and pulled it back off because it never worked 100%, as Nathan said above. But I think Serge could shine a brighter light (pun) on the subject.

No BCM programming required. It works by switching to the LED harness but the DRLs won't work. If you want the DRLs to work there's a couple of ways to custom wire the harness to either have them work properly as a dim version of the low beam, or as I had done, for the DRL to be the low beams.

But that's not the reason I took them off ... I took them off because the driver's side kept getting unhinged from the height adjustment mechanism and would end up pointing straight to the ground. It happened with two straight brand new driver's side headlamps, and GM wasn't going to keep replacing them for free forever, so when I got the third one I sold the whole thing as a package rather than take a chance on another driver's side issue. Btw, there's no reason that I could think off that that one side kept failing, but it did.

Brent, those rims will look great.

Those wheels do look so good.

I would color match the centers and leave all the chrome on the truck

What kind of rubber they come with?

Lexani tires. Not the best in the world but I like that it has the XL load weight for the truck. My 420s didn't have that. I need to put them on to test fit but tires def look smaller then my old ones. got 295's but this rim is a 10.5 width. So tires look a little stretched.. but not by much.

So now with these wheels. I am keeping a lot of my chrome. I will black out the window trim and the bottom step board chrome. But leave the rest (for now) then down the road color match mabye the vent on the fender and molding but leave chrome handles. Make it look very similar to what the premiums in 13 look like.

love it. I actually don't mind if they're NOT colormatched. I like it like it is

When are you planning on lowering it?
