I bought a ssv tahoe with 160k miles about two months ago. Did a complete overhaul of the engine and tuned as well. She's running 100% but now I need to move on into the suspension.

I'd like to lower the truck a bit. The previous owner has manual air shocks in the rear ( to level ). But I'd like to get something a bit stiffer as I'm used to driving a sports car.

I'd like to know what kinda drop I should do for 305/40/22, that'll give me no rubbing issues. Not wanting her slammed but I'd like her at least lowered 3/4 inches in the rear.

I appreciate any help.

Assuming the rear set up is the same as my 07 you can get 3” drop springs and shock extenders from several companies. The free travel mod isn’t necessary but wouldn’t hurt. There are several posts here about doing this.

I would look in the 08 section under street suspension
