Wait!?! @j91z28d1 does your Yuke show z95 on the glove box door?

So true! FL is amazing and I didn’t want to leave when I was out there on business. Pretty sure my blood pressure dropped down a notch too. Felt like home.

My girls are 17 & 20 so I’ve got to secure they get through school and / or get a starter home in this $7.89 family size bag of potato chip economy.

My friend moved there last year. 3 hurricanes, 2 straight months in the mid-90's, and $800/mo. for home insurance (on a $325K house), and he is regretting his decision.
What part of Florida did he move to? As for the hurricanes, you learn to prepare for them and they come and go. No snow, no earthquakes, few tornadoes.

I would like to be a snowbird, spending the summer in cooler climates.

Homosassa area. He has to go thru some state insurance thing as his house was built before 1990 and he can't get insurance thru a normal carrier. At least that is what he told me. My neighbors are snowbirds. 1/2 there, 1/2 in Wisconsin. No earthquakes here either... lol!
