2010 Tahoe DIC acting a bit weird

Did a quick search on here as well as google and couldnt find much.
Just picked up a '10 tahoe lt for my wife to drive and noticed on the drive home that the dic only works if you hold the second of four buttons and also press the other two meaning i ahve to hold one down while i toggle through the mpg,trip o and such... this seems a bit off to me and before taking it to the dealership to have them look at the issue.
also any good placed to get keys and key fobs?
