I put a pair of after market high flow fans on my 04 Yukon XL 2500 with 6.0. They work flawlessly, I made my own harness that turns both on with the AC and I put a adjustable temp sender where the top rad hose connects to the rad and set one fan to come on the same as the clutch use to, about 210. The second fan comes on about 215 which rarely does. My issue is the speed switch. Can I tie into pin 42 to get a relay to shut off both fans when I hit 45 MPH? Currently the fans are on with the AC at any speed. I live in South Florida so air is essential. I don't really notice the fans at 70 MPH but would like to save me alternator. Any thoughts?

Yeah you could use Pin 42, low speed fan pin. The only question in doing that is does your PCM have the calibration to command it on given vehicle speed? You may have to go to a tuner to enable that part of the calibration. Doesn't hurt to try though.
