I have a 2010 Tahoe LS with nav system, bluetooth, rear dvd, reverse camera, sunroof, and black cloth interior. I also have a 2007 LT with nothing but grey cloth interior. I want to get your opinions on completely swapping them. Because of the sunroof I will not be able to swap the head liners.

I have a mechanic I'm going ask to do it for me. Anyone done this before or have any thoughts on what a fair price to have it done?

Was going to explain in the OP because I knew someone would ask. I'm not keeping the 2010 and the 2007 interior was owned by a smoker who has left their smell behind along with cigarette burns.

I also just like the black interior better..

Don't know what a fair price would be, sorry. If I was doing it though I would charge by the hour on Labor.

600 per truck? I sure wouldnt pay it. Why not do it yourself? I know if I had a chance to do this to any of my trucks I jump jump on it. Theres nothing like waking up on a saturday morning and having to work on your truck and especially on a task like this. IDK if its just me that likes to do all this stuff.

+2

If you have the ability and the tools, I would do it myself. Something to be said for pride in your own workmanship. :headbang:

Mmm, you know whomever runs that vin when you try to sell it is going to realize the wrong interior is in the truck? By the time you're half way to explaining what you did, the truck's gonna have dropped $5k in value.

You might be better off scavenging the parts one by one off of wrecked trucks and get your 07 looking the way you like that way.
