Hi ...
So I'm doing some research on AOL Autos on the differences between the 10 and 11 model year SWB Denali AWD, and I'm seeing these numbers:
Electronic Stability System:
10: std
11: StabiliTrak w/Proactive Roll Avoidance
Fuel Economy:
10: 13/20
11: 13/18
0-60:
10: 6.1
11: 6.4
Also better 1/4 mile time and speed, and slalom speed on the 10
Curb Weight:
10: 5,732 lbs.
11: 5,817 lbs.
And this is the big one!
Front Hip room:
10: 64.4 "
11: 60.3 "
So far as I can tell, other than a StabiliTrak upgrade adding a little weight on the 11, it is slower, less agile, worse on fuel economy, and has 4" less hip room than its 10 model year counterpart.
Are there some other upgrades from the 10 to the 11 that I'm not seeing that make up for this seeming downgrade?
I'm a little confused as to how the 10 would in fact be a superior vehicle than a newer 11.
Thoughts?
