Hello Everyone,

I have an opportunity to purchase a 2011 OEM navigation radio from a buddy who upgraded to the 2012 hard drive unit in his Suburban. He only wants $300 and that includes the NAV disk! I don't really care about the navigation function. The main reason I want the unit is for the ipod/iphone integration and the backup camera. However, I am not clear about what all is needed and if a 2011 unit will even work in a 2007 vehicle. My research has actually confused me more than it helped, I think. LOL!

So, will the unit work in my 2007 Suburban (w/ Bose, no RSE)? Can my BCM be programmed to accept a 2011 nav radio? And I know which parts I need for the USB, but which backup camera do I buy: a 2007 or a 2011? Thanks in advance for all of the help and advice!
