this is the plate with the trailer switch, i've sold this a few times and if your truck has the wire harness there you should be good to install.

this is an original part to add to the dash,the ones i sold too had the harness there already there from factory. never had the customer come back that didn't have the harness. i would think it would work but i don't know for sure.
Looks like the switch for a brake controller. Top left lever lets you control it manually. The Plus and Minus lets you add or subtract power to the trailer brakes so they will automatically adjust the amps to the brakes. If they don't feel like they are engaging enough stopping power, add some. Hook up your trailer and find a place where you can test how much stopping power you need on your trailer.
