2011Tahoe recommended inner door liner (rubber).

So I’m looking to replace my rubber inner door liner for the driver and passenger side doors. Is this something that can be changed out as a novice or needs a shop to complete this? If I did it myself what kind of tools will I need? Also do you recommend all Door liners be changed out at the same time?

Are you talking about the gasket on the body that seals the opening when the door is closed? If yes, I recommend GM OE and they are simply friction fit, you can do it yourself. Same for the drip weatherstrip above that goes over both doors.

Replacing those is my July project.

Alph_Omega thank you for taking the time. I ordered the driver and passenger side door weather striping and the OEM CODE looks the same for both. I will reference this post in the future.

Don’t laugh but what does the auxiliary weather striping look like when attached. I’m having a hard time imagining it/ swing it. I’ve tried to put the code in and see what it looks like attached. Guess my best option it to look at my Tahoe.

Ken,
It’s basically just a strip at the bottom of the door. It attaches to the door panel itself, sandwiched between the inner portion of the door and the outer portion of the door panel.
You may not need them. Those numbers are from a reference list of several part number I have gathered for my Denali over the years.
