Hi guys, I have a used 2012 Yukon Denali. I have a question about the big storage compartment in the center console (between passenger and driver seats). Since I bought mine used, I was curious of I was missing a tray. I have one huge giant cavernous space. Is there supposed to be removable tray or something in there?

I purchased a CD-Coin Holder accessory. It's listed as an accessory for my make/model/year. But what the heck do I do with it? It just 'floats' in the giant cavern? This lead me to believe that I was missing a tray or something (that this accessory was supposed to sit in). The part that I have is Part Number: 19154713. The installation instructions show it snapping into a tray of some kind. Not sure if this is separate, or an original part that wasn't in my used Yukon.

Thanks for any advice!

You can Google it and find a nice tray that costs about $32 that fits perfectly...and which GM could have included in that enormous storage bin but chose not to.
I bought one in order to make storage more useful.

Just pull it out to get access to the large compartment underneath

You bought a cd/coin holder for ls or lt tahoe/yukon. on the ltzs and denalis there is a woodgrain or stainless cover over the front of console with a small covered cubby, foward of the cup holder but behind and under the radio/climate controls. On ls/lt there is no such cove and the cup holders or cd tray can be swapped foward/back.IMG_8871.JPGIMG_8872.JPG

Yep, that makes perfect sense. Thanks Pete.
