2012 Denali Cooled Seats

Mine don't seem to do much. I read about how they work. I can feel hot air coming off the radiator behind the seat, and I can hear a fan blowing in the seat, but I don't feel any air blowing through the perforated leather. The seat also doesn't feel cool at all. Quite the opposite. Same problem in both seats.

I guess I will take it back to the dealer. Just wondering if anyone else has dealt with this or has cooled seats and can verify that they should be working better than mine are.

It doesn't actually blow air up through but rather pulls air down through them. you should notice it more when sitting in the seat. I especially notice it on long trips in my dads Tahoe... None of that "stuck to the seat" feeling. Really wish my burb had them.

Its a hit or miss with people. I think that the ones in our esky are okay, when I am in my sisters lexus...night and day difference.

I have heard from people it gives them a feeling of "wetting themselves" TMI

Does anyone know if these seats would fit in a 2008 Denali? Also, I assume there would be some additional and wiring needed to make them work.

My seats definitely keep my ass and back cool. Gotta have these out here too since summertime means 100+ temps

Cooled seats are basically ventilated seats...lil fans under the motor drive air thru the holes in the seat creating a cooling effect...keeps you from getting wet butt

Mine works like a champ. Get yours checked out OP. It should def work well as yours is a '12...

The cooled/heated seats in my 2009 Denali XL work well but it takes a bit before you really notice, esp. if it's super hot out.
