To me most of the problem lies with the 3.08 gears. Most tahoes had 3.42s until the 6spd came along but now the only way to get 3.45s is to order the K5l towing package, and you almost never see it on the dealer lots.

Any update on your tune?

I have a 2013 with the 6 speed and I'm looking at getting a BB tune. Just wondering how much of a difference it makes on the 6 speed.

Sorry for the delay in updates. I never got a tune. No offense to BB tune, but it didnt feel comfortable spending that kind of money while only being able to talk to them via PM. So I removed my 24" wheels and the funky shifting stopped.

ITs been some time and my wife wants her 24"s back on, so I might venture down this road again. I see there is a new player in the tune market now with a phone number too. Not sure what Im going to do, but Im looking.

We did have a phone number available at one time, but the reality was that the amount of time that many callers spent "chit chatting" was very significantly cutting into the turn around time for tunes that had been already purchased. It's not possible to focus on a phone conversation and modifying a tune at the same time and with over 100 emails a day now and dozens of packages coming in and out at the same time, we do not have the available capacity to handle any time-drawing phone conversations at this time. If we only tuned one or two vehicles a week, it wouldn't be a problem.

We've been working on a method and intend to add in some phone support in the near future as employment situations change.

Good to know! Thank you for spending some time to respond.

Jenna -- You guys going to be in the Philly area anytime in the near future? (I'd go to central NJ, too, or down to Baltimore...)

Yes, I'm running a tune, but would like to see if it could be optimized via an in-truck session.

BB will be in NJ next month......Hope to see you there!
