Hey Everyone,

I am new to the forum and just puchased a 2012 Yukon Denali XL. I was told by the dealer that it was not possible to lift the truck due to the autoride suspension. I puchased the vehicle anyway, but want to know from individuals who actually have the truck if it is possible to lift a 2012 Denali XL with the autoride suspension. Any information provided would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your help.

Of course it's possible ... I've seen lifted Escalades and LTZs which both have autoride.

Perhaps someone here knows the details but perhaps checking into some Escalade forums would also be helpful to you.

It's possible, and expensive, at least from what I've heard. How much of a lift are you thinking?

My friend raised his 6 inches and he had to pull the auto ride out and fabricate a lift kit that will get to the height he wants and he fabricated the auto ride into his lift kit, looks great and he still has his auto ride suspension.

Thanks everyone for the replies, as far as price goes, i really dont care what it costs. All i am looking to do is lift the Denali a couple of inches, or whatever it takes to put 33 inch AT tires on. If anyone has any other information or products to purchase I would greatly appreciate it.

Are you de-chroming it?

Cause chrome and off-road don't really go together.

One more thought ...

The AWD has an inter-axle differential where a 4X4 would have a transfer case. This is okay for occasional ventures off the pavement but not that good for moderate to severe off road conditions. The AWD is more geared towards great all weather pavement traction rather than anything else.

If it's just for looks then disregard the above. :)

check skyjacker, they have a 3" lift. We just picked up our Yukon Denali this weekend and plan on doing the same thing.
