Crossmember Bolt Part Number - 2012 Yukon Denali XL 1500

this is one of those times when you need a real hardware store, luckily we have one here in town, they carry dam near any size bolt, nut, etc
simply because they are in the heart of america's food supply, full machine & fabrication shop the whole bit. It's like going to a adult candy store

The other day I went to my local ACE Hardware but their inventory is depleted especially on the larger stuff. Today I went to my local Fastenal and they ordered bolts for me that are supposed to arrive on Monday. Those will be 15mm shorter than the stock bolts (150 vs 165 mm) but the correct size, thread and grade (M14, 2.0 and 10.9, respectively).

It still bugs me that I cannot find the P/N of the original bolts. I have other vehicles for which I have complete exploded parts diagrams down to the tiny plastic bits. Why can't GM be as helpful.

Worst case scenario call a dealership (caller ID blocked) and ask for “price and availability of the four bolts for said truck”.

Then tell the parts guy to give you the part #’s so you can write them down for your parts delivery driver so he won’t trouble you again when he comes in. He’ll thank you and you get to order them off the web or …

Plug in the part numbers to the dealer site to obtain the specs and order them from McMaster for 25¢ ea. Use the money you saved to also buy a tube of graphite to lube up all the squeaky cabinets in the kitchen. Wifey will love you.

I spec'ed them myself and ordered from McMaster Carr. They deliver tomorrow.

part of the reason is GM suppliers will often "bundle" parts together and not offer pieces separate, so it could that if you purchased a new cross member the bolts would maybe be included. In such cases GM can't even get them separate so they are not listed as a available part
ran into this with the "heater hose T's" on the k2's, the T's is only sold with a $200+ bundle of hvac lines but there is a workaround. you just use the gmt800/900 T's in swapped positions.
