this is one of those times when you need a real hardware store, luckily we have one here in town, they carry dam near any size bolt, nut, etc
simply because they are in the heart of america's food supply, full machine & fabrication shop the whole bit. It's like going to a adult candy store :gr_grin:

The other day I went to my local ACE Hardware but their inventory is depleted especially on the larger stuff. Today I went to my local Fastenal and they ordered bolts for me that are supposed to arrive on Monday. Those will be 15mm shorter than the stock bolts (150 vs 165 mm) but the correct size, thread and grade (M14, 2.0 and 10.9, respectively).

It still bugs me that I cannot find the P/N of the original bolts. I have other vehicles for which I have complete exploded parts diagrams down to the tiny plastic bits. Why can't GM be as helpful.
