Can anyone send me instructions on how to install factory DVD headrest into a 2012 Yukon SLT? Does the system connect to the radio (BOSE)? Where do you mount the little box that the headrest plug into?

Please post if you find the details. I'm getting ready to do this exact project on the Denali...

I don't believe there are actual instructions for this unit. It is 100% separate from the Bose setup. Each DVD unit plugs directly into the black box, and the black box just gets a power and ground supplied to it. Very simple, very basic installation.

We mounted the black box under the drivers seat. The factory calls for it to be installed underneath the center console, but that was an absolute pain to get access to. Take the positive and run that to an accessory power and ground the black box to the seat bolt.

The rest of the wires are all color coded and just plug together.

Superchargedss - the black box has a harness and a plug that looks like it should plug into something.

SS, is that an item you can sell? From your website, it looks like you deal primarily with wheels and tires. I'm seeing wild swings in price for the GM factory (19244252 - or new part number 22840272) units online....

There's a guy selling them in eBay for $650. Ain't gonna beat that price!

I'm about to buy a set for my silverado.

I saw those and they are a great deal, but they are listed with a different part number (22840267 as opposed to 22840272.) Any idea what the difference is?

Answered my own question....the xxx0267 units are for Sierras and Silverados while the xxx0272 units are for Tahoes and Yukons.

I would have thought the seats were the same, but apparently they aren't.
