2012 yukon link puddle lights to dome lights?

Nice work. I'm about to install some aftermarket tow mirrors on my truck, and they have 2 spotlights instead of puddle lamps (plus heat and led turn signals but no power fold). I would like to wire those lights as puddle lights. Looking at this image, do I just need to insert the wires in the clip opposite those 2 orange and white wires?

I figured it out - just cut off old harness and wire up those 2 orange wires to the lights. Thanks for the info on orange wire polarity - LEDs tend to be picky about that...
