Hi we swapped tires and rims on our 2013 Tahoe with ones from a 2021 Silverado. We tried to have our mechanic program the TPMS in the tires/rims from the Silverado but it's not working - he said its probably due to the frequency but he was not sure. Before I go and purchase new TPMS sensors - does anyone know if there is a special work around to get the sensors in this newer set to work with my 2013 Tahoe or do I just need to purchase new TPMS sensors for this set of tires and rims that are compatible with this 2013 Tahoe.

Any help or advice is appreciated.

I believe that there was a TPMS frequency change between 2013 and 2021. In that case, you will need purchase the TPMS sensors for the 2021 model year.
