2014 tahoe, 5.3L 2wd. 150k.... slight throttle lag, hesitation right at or above 1,000 rpm.... other than that runs fine, no codes. Possible throttle body I'm thinking. Air filter, mass, all clean....

If i purchase a throttle body, any recommendations on a certain aftermarket or performance one that would be better than stock..I have no other modifications to engine . But would consider slight improvements if combined with another throttle body would help,.or improve response

Most likely you don’t need a new throttle body. Have you checked the basics? Good battery Air filter MAF sensor intake tube? Also look for any loose vacuum lines some have a T that gets cracked. Do you have access to a scan tool? Though no lights are on there still may be a code stored.
