Funny story first....so last July 4th, 2024, my suburban was sitting in our yard prior to hooking up to the jetski to drop it into the lake. Driving down the road about a block and there is this loud bang and the truck jerked. I immediately stopped and jumped out to find radiator fluid pouring all over the road. I quickly turned around and got it back to the yard. Once up on the hoist, I found out the problem. Near as I could tell, a chipmunk or small squirrel was under the truck and did not realize there was a spinning fan there when it tried to go thru ultimately getting decapitated. Most of the fan blades ended up knocked off with a few going thru the radiator. It was a struggle to get the correct radiator part number and (unbroken) from Autozone about 80 miles away along with the correct transmission cooler lines. All has been good until now; the OEM original water pump has started leaking.

Knowing the issue with trying to get the correct parts last time I am trying to verify everything prior to cracking into it (especially since it is March up here in the frozen tundra). I can see the current water pump casting has 12637371 on it. When it was just in for an oil change, the dealership told me about the issue and quoted replacing it with part number 19434033 at $1041. I can't seem to find an interchange for 12637371. Is there a place I can look to see what it was replaced with?

I also want to change out the heater hoses at the same time since I found a slight drip out of one of them when changing the #8 spark plug and wire last Feb. I have secured the metal replacement tee's from Dorman now but the dealership was unable to tell me the correct part numbers for the heater hoses as they appear to be 22861878 and 22861873 printed on the hoses. I am hoping the same interchange might be able to lead me to the right ones to use there as well.

Thanks -
Chris
