Yours doesn’t have the true adaptive cruise. Mine also has the 3 settings but all that does is give you the distance warning on the dash. The cruise on our trucks won’t speed up and slow down the car to match the car speed in front of you.
I beg to differ. Mine will slow down when I run up on another car and will spped back up to my selected speed if I change lanes and there’s no car ahead of me. The 3 settings adjust this from 1, 2, or 3 car lengths.

According to all online sources as well as my 2015 LTZ which is a higher trim model than yours you don’t have it. So it’s you against the internet as well as GM.

If you can find one with adaptive cruise get it. We love it in our 2020. I don't know if I'd want to drive a vehicle this large and powerful without it. Helps tremendously with keeping the speed you plan without fear of getting distracted and creeping up into high priced ticketing territory.

It seems to be hit and miss. Some people love it others hate it.

Regular cruise also won't go faster then you set it, paying attention does the rest.

My 2015 Denali does speed up and slow down so did they really make 3 different levels of cruise control in 2015? I would also argue that most of the time while I don't mind the adaptive cruise it is absolutely brutal about minor things causing it to absolutely demolish your momentum if you are having to occasionally maneuver around a slower vehicle. I personally would prefer normal cruise after having it for half a year but it isn't as bad as I thought it would be.

My understanding is the 2015 wireless charging center console lid is also outdated and won't work with most modern phones. I also can say that my Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra doesn't even lay flat in the center console charging area so if you have a good size phone it is moot anyway.

Mag rides are expensive so I was just saying check if any of the magnetic ride special sauce is leaking. If they are you need new shocks and they are $500 a piece or more.

Your scan tool will only read the ECM; it won’t be able to read any of the computers in the truck such as the BCM, stab control modules, side detection modules, entertainment systems, collision detection and airbags, etc. those modules throw their own codes and have their own test routines.

Sometimes you need to recalibrate modules such as if you replace a mag ride shock it’s good to do the zero procedure which only a bi-directional scanner can do when it talks to the SCM.
I've seen that the mag rides are pricey, but if I get this for the price I'm hoping to, I'll still be ahead even if I have to replace them. My scan tool talks to the bcm and other modules on the wife's Impala and my 02 Burb. I guess I'll find out if it talks to this one when I check it out Tuesday. What is a good scantool that would do that without breaking the bank if I need to upgrade?

All I can tell you is my 2015 LTZ has the “normal” cruise and doesn’t care about anything in front of the vehicle.
So maybe I’m the ass spreading false info?

Anyway, yes the wireless charging pad if it was stock OEM in 2015 won’t support a lot of new phones in forgot. I didn’t mention that because I replaced the charging pad in mine with an updated module that works on new phones…….

I use the Autel ones, you’d need to spend a minimum of $500 to get one that does most things like this:
