I have an 08 Denali and need to replace my mirrors. Would the 2015+ fit without external modification? I want to retain all function (power fold, defrost, turn signals, puddle lights) and I don’t want tow mirrors.

Why wouldn't you just replace with your year mirror? I think it wold look really odd with 2015 mirrors. Not sure the mirror would mount correctly as they don't appear to be the same shape and size where they meet the door. But I could be wrong on that.

The new mirrors are more angular like the body of my truck. The current mirrors are pretty round and don’t look right in my opinion. Just don’t want to spend the money and have them not fit.

Don't think so HarNess is probably way different and you problably run into fitment issues that's just my guess, you can always try and spread the knowledge though.

Harness I'm not so worried about. I can test wires and re-wire it to work. I am more worried about the fitment. Maybe I'll call a junk yard and see if they have one I can get cheap and try.

Did you ever find out? I was at the junkyard this weekend looking for 2015 mirrors to mock up but no luck. I'm also in agreement with you about the new mirrors looking better than the round ones.

I had pondered the idea as well but think the mirrors from the 2014 and up Silverado/Sierra would look better since their a bit bigger than the Tahoe and are angular in shape. Maybe if the base can be swapped it might work.

I’ve thought about the same design style of the older model yuks or hoes
The mirror doesn’t match the body style.
I don’t have a solution for u but just wanted u to know you’re not alone lol
