2015 Rims on 2013 Tahoe

Hey All,

I found these sweet rims I want to put on my 2013 Z71 Tahoe. These are 20" five spoke factory Chevy wheels. Part #23431106. Picture below. However, according to Chevy these wheels are ONLY for 2015 and 2016 models. I spoke to a few sources who tell me these wheels SHOULD go on an older Tahoe no problem. Same specs, same dimensions, offset, backspacing, bolt pattern and everything. So does anybody have any experience mounting these wheels on an older Tahoe? Any problems or fitment issues to be aware of?

yep they're all 6 lug just like 00-14 factory gm wheels. I just put 2015 GM CK161 wheels on my 2010.

Thanks guys. Any idea why Chevy advertises them as 2015 only? Even the Chevy parts guy told me they're only for 2015 but couldn't explain why.

Maybe they only made that style for 1 year. But they still gunna fit other years. Same pattern

As was already posted, If the specs are the same and you mount the proper tires(s), it wont matter. I have 2014 wheels (replicas) on my 2005

Because he can't explain their money making scheme to you lol. You know how many people don't get online and double check what the dealership just told them?
