Does anyone know where the drain plug is located?
I found where the water is draining from on the front passenger side near the frame, but I can’t locate the plug that the water is actually coming from.
I’m trying to clean it out to get rid of the musty smell when I first turn on the A/C.

They are one in the same. If you see water dripping there from the firewall on the outside that is where the "plug" is but it is not a plug. It is a spout. Sometimes they get completely clogged or stopped up a bit. I like to use something flexible with bristle teeth on it to reach in there to wiggle around and clean. I use 3-4 pipe cleaners twisted together. If it is clogged and you free it up, look out because you will get a face full of water if you are right under it.

That’s exactly what I’m trying to do. I saw the water dripping down a silver pipe on the passenger side near the frame, but couldn’t see where it starts at.

My vehicle is a 2015 suburban which I should have mentioned earlier.

With it being a spout, was it something that you just twisted off?

Any pictures would be great! Thanks!

The heater core and evaporator box flows the water to the spout. It is an open spout to allow the sweat from the evaporator to spill out. It is mounted there and does not twist off. I don't know any other way to say it. It is not like a twist off beer cap. It is open all the time. It is like a *** with a big hole in the end of it to allow water to drain. Maybe a you tube video would help you.

Thanks! That is the tube I’m looking for. I watched a video where a guy sprayed some cleaner and Lysol solution into the tube to help clean the condenser and get rid of the moldy/musty smell.

I was looking yesterday for this tube, but no luck. I will try again this weekend and may remove the fender liner for a better view.
