I wouldn't afraid to tow that with either choice of wheels.

I’d be surprised if it was 3-4K. My boat is an old Wellcraft made of the old thick fiberglass and a 350 and weighs 3800 without the trailer. One day I’ll get an aluminum boat. Good choice
