Hello New owner here to a 2015 Tahoe LTZ!
I am having an issue with the driver seat cushion cooling not working. It is in the shop and they are stating that it can’t be fixed as the sensors that sit on top of the cushion are unavailable at this time. I am wondering if anyone could explain to me how this works. As they said the heat is now working in it but not the cooling. Isn’t the cooling just a fan to blow air?
I am sorry if I come across as knowing nothing about this, but I don’t. I just don’t want to be lied to by the mechanic who is working on it.
Thank you and sorry for the long post.

I believe it’s just a fan but it blows ducted air from the AC. I don’t know enough about it to say what the sensor is. Go to gmpartsdirect.com and put in your VIN then you can look for the part.

Thank you Big Mamma! The AC wasn’t working, it’s fixed now so now maybe that will fix the seat problem too!
