2015 Tahoe..Grinding in steering column

Yet another problem with the 2015 Tahoe. I was feeling a horrible grinding when I turned the steering wheel Mostly when I turned left but occasionally when turning right as well. Felt like I was turning the wheel on a gravel road while not moving, then would break free and turn fine. Brought to the dealer for that (and other things) and they said there was a bulletin out about a bolt that works its way loose on the steering shaft. they replaced the shaft and did something with the bolt but according to the advisor I'm not the first this has happened to. Anyone else?

Did the work the dealer performed fix the issue?

I want to fix the new popping in my 2015.

os there a vid or write up for the fix? Is it bearings or a lower shaft like the older models
