I'm looking to upgrade the fog lights on my Tahoe LTZ to LED as well as the housing because the lens cover is all scratched up. I'm looking to upgrade the fogs first before replacing the headlight bulbs.

What have others installed?

The stock size bulbs are crap. You can find new housings online that fit h8 bulbs for around 50 bones, which also means they fit h9 and h11. I have h11 leds in them, and they work quite well. The h11 is also the headlight bulb size, so 4 of them make for excellent visibility. Im using the cheaper eye of megatron bulbs that were 36 a pair...

What fog light housings are you referring to here? Are they GM OEM’s or aftermarket? Direct plug and play replacement for the factory fog light housing?

Got a link?

First I’ve heard of this and would like to know more about this option.

Amz. I got the ikon housings first and they were crap with the tiny oem bulb (burnt out 3rd time lit). These are the ones I ended up with, and even though they say they dont fit the 2018, they fit perfect: TC Sportline LA-GMYU1501CL-W OE Style Pair Clear Lens Front Bumper Driving Fog Lights Lamp with Switch Wire - For 2015-2017 Chevy Tahoe/Chevy Suburban/GMC Yukon/GMC Yukon XL.

Both headlights and fogs have the $40 2019 version hakari 'clockable' bulbs. 100% better than stock, and less than $120 total...

Thanks for the housing suggestion. What LED did you get with? Was it the HIKARI Ultra LED Headlight Bulbs Conversion Kit -H11(H8,H9), Prime LED 12000lm 6K Cool White?

I'm going to put LED in the fog lights. My Tahoe has HID headlights. I will upgrade the HID bulbs to 6K

Go with the Morimoto fog lights. Very clean and nice output. I have them on my 2015 Tahoe. Easy swap.
