2015 Tahoe/Transmission Thermal Bypass TSB

Ive been seeing that these transmissions run hot and i should do a mod so they run colder. i have a 2015 Tahoe LT with the 6speed. Can i just replace the bypass valve with the one in this TSB? I noticed that GM took MY2015 off of the TSB scope hence my confusion.
