If I completely disconnect the batter for say a day, what all will be reset in the car and what will I have to do after I reconnect it?

Thanks

On my 2016 Tahoe everything goes back to normal in 30-60 minutes. The outside temperature will read 34 degrees and the A/C will blow hot air for a short even though the real outside temperature is 100 degrees at the time. The clock will also be off. If you short trip home and cut it off the next morning it should be back to normal.

At least that is how it works on my 2016. Not sure if yours will act differently.

Welcome from NYC!

It won’t clear a code. Maybe it will clear for a day but will come back until you fix the underlying issue.

Right. It might clear a code initially but if the issue is still there the code will come right back after the cycles are complete. If you fixed the issue and the code is still there you might just need to drive it 50-80 miles to complete cycle checks and it should go away. Not much info to go off of here lol

After disconnecting the battery to flat tow when I reconnected several things do not work now including my supercruise and tailgate option of foot wave. Will these reset on their own eventually?

you posted in the wrong section this generation does not have supercruise
I also do not have the answer I would imagine it would be wise to visit a dealer to have it checked out
sometimes disconnecting the battery again can help with electronic "handshakes" if the cable was wiggled a lot or something while connecting it
