object sensor and harness you could probably do yourself and save a bit of money, oil & transmission lines can be a real pain in the butt to do but you could do them also if you have a day of free time.
My Tahoe with 80K miles on it also has leaking oil and transmission lines and they want about the same amount to fix. I did some research and the trans line seems like something I can do myself but the oil cooler lines appear to tucked up under the transmission and may be a pain to access. Apparently these lines leaking is a normal occurrence.
I keep checking my oil level and trans fluid levels but they don't seem to ever be low so at least it's not an emergency for me yet.
I'd also be curious what everyone thinks are the main items that "must" be serviced soon.
Is your truck leaving oil or transmission fluid spots or showing their levels dropping? If not, I’d doubt that it’s a necessary repair.
