2015 GMC Yukon Xl SLT 4x4. Standard air leveling shocks(not magnaride) Compressor was running quite long after start up. Found a leak in the shocks, so I replaced both sides with AC Delco #19432783. Everything was fine for a couple of weeks. Then I noticed compressor running every morning at start up. Started checking and found shocks deflated every morning. I checked for leaks and couldn't find any.
When I finally got around to try and diagnose, they don't even inflate now and the compressor doesn't run.
After reading some forum discussion, I did a couple of things.
1) Jumped terminal 30 and 87 and the compressor did not run.
2) Saw a diagnosis YouTube video on the compressor that powered the red and black big wires directly from a 12v source. I did this and the compressor did not run.
I have a limited function scanner and it indicates a C0712-00 Code - Level Control Compressor Relay Circuit
I have a new relay inbound to try, but I am wondering if the code is leading me astray and it might be the compressor itself?
Any other steps to help isolate?
