I have one on order - patiently waiting.

BTW, does anyone know what type of shocks are utilized on the Sub Z71? They are larger diameter (40mm+) and red. I thought they were Rancho's, but I was following a Sierra Z71 yesterday in traffic and the rear shocks were imblazened with "Rancho" (white with red lettering) and narrower in diameter. The ride on the Z71 Sub we test drove was much more controlled than the 2015 Yukon we drove for two weeks on a recent vacation, which sealed the deal on ordering the Z71.

Doh! Turns out all of you, and I, were right and it was too late to order a 2015. Dealer neglected to alert me until I called to check on progress. The good news is that they honored my 2015 USAA pricing on a 2016. Order placed yesterday.

Just to clear up some confusion, You've ordered a 2016 already? I'm in the market for a Z71 LT but I'm thinking of waiting for the 2016 models to hit the dealership. Mind telling us what your price point was?

Yes, ordered the 2016. Dealer said that they begin production on July 27th. The price was $900 under invoice. I'll most likely receive after Labor Day.

There are no physical or technical changes on the 2016 vs. the 2015.
However GM changed their Warranty policy starting with 2016 models to only 60k/5y drivetrain warranty (coming from 100k/5y) as most of you probably know.
That's the reason why I was specifically chasing the last couple of month to still get a hand on a 2015 Z71 off some dealers inventory. Otherwise we would have waited till December and bought a 2016

I remember one of the things that I read after I picked up my 2015 Z71 was that the 2016s were going to fully support Apple CarPlay. And there were several other features that came with the 16s
