2015i - Feb15 Build date and i have Antenna water leak? is there a temp fix?

Why would GM design such a gasket?? Roof slopes into the gap and water will inevitably collect inside the antenna.

My leak and rough idle both fixed. Dealer has a third party leak guy and this was his fifth antenna leak in last couple months. Simple fix

Simple question.... does anyone know if the gap in the gasket makes the antenna more prone to leaks because water can collect under it ?? What are the service techs saying?

It is by design
there is supposed to a secondary seal where the bolt and cable pass through roof. This is what they sealed on mine. So far so good.

All good one week later with antenna leak. Even did a car wash.



Rough idle is also gone. Highly encourage folks to get the engine shim done if you have excessive vibrations at idle.
