2016 Denali/Cruise control-Check Engine Light

Have 2016 Yukon Denali, I reset check engine light now my cruise control light will turn on but it will not set at speed. Can anyone help ?

On my previous gen. there was a brake pedal switch that would have to be replaced to fix it. The part was around 10$. I am thinking that this may be your issue. It would also cause engine lights as well. Sometimes you could move it around and it would work for a moment.

What was the code that set the check engine light?

P0305 misfire cyl #5. New plugs, wires and coil pack on #5&7

Check coil or check injector by switching around. You may have lifter failure. You could remove a valve cover to check. FYI OnStar will give the codes if you call. The lifters that collapse are 1,4,6 or 7. Did you check the vlom which is under the intake manifold?
