Was driving my 16 Denali last night, and I switched to my high beams. This caused instrument cluster and radio to turn off momentarily. Also the headlights went out. This happened a few more times, so I stopped using the highs. What could cause this?

First: Welcome to the forum from Oregon.

Second: https://www.gmpartswarehouse.com/oem-parts/gm-switch-84472676. Could be this headlight switch. This is the one if you have fog lights.

Seems like every time I turn around there are electrical problems that trace back to electrical connections at grounds and battery. Especially if you live in an area where they use salt on the roads those connections get dirty and corroded and loose. Check anywhere in the engine compartment, firewall, frame.....etc.
