2016 GMC Yukon Denali 2.5" Suspension Maxx Leveling Kit - Maximum Tire Size

Hello All,

I have a 2016 GMC Yukon Denali with a 2.5" Suspension Maxx Front Leveling Kit with stock rear suspension. I have trimmed the whole plastic front bumper air dam off and I also don't mind performing the NorCal mod to the inner fender. I am trying to avoid tire rubbing on any suspension components/frame/etc. This vehicle is equipped with the stock 22" wheels and I plan to keep the wheels and just upgrade tires when the current tires have low tread. I would prefer the maximum tire height to fill as much of the fender wells as possible and I am open to any width. I am looking at different all terrain and mud tires currently. Any and all input will be helpful and appreciated!

this is a 2.5/1.5 lift, with a 285/55/22...i did trim the very front portion of fender line, maybe an inch in height. 99/9% of people looking side by side would never notice as i followed the factory shape.
This is the largest size with out major trimming, next up is almost 34" tire

That is all of a 34” tall tire, if not even taller.

i stand corrected...i wanted the 285/55...didnt fit. went with the 285/50. i still have the 55 stuck in my head, as that is what will end up going on it in the very near future. it will receive a 4" lift over all.

How are you liking the Toyo ATs? I have been looking into the Nitto Ridge Grapplers but haven't made my mind up for sure yet. I have been noticing the 33x12.50R22 is a bit cheaper than the 285/50R22 for not much difference in size.

this is roughly the 4th or 5th set i have purchased, stating with the older AT. i love them, they are quiet, handle and ride great and never under performed in any condition i have used them in. not to mention, they last longer than advertised.

Have had 305/45/22 at3’s on my wifes high country for a short period of time. So far seem to be great tires. Smooth/balanced, quiet, and hookup great in snow, rain and dry weather.
