I heard the optispark was a part prone to failure. Read somewhere there's an aftermarket optispark much better then oem.My second car was a 9c1 Caprice!! It had the L99 and I swapped a LT1 longblock in to have the LT1 and I loved that car. That was my first real "performance" vehicle. It would not stop eating Optisparks every 5-10k so I had to get rid of it. I own a '09 SSV 4WD, but I just got home from Chicago Motors with my new '18 PPV 4WD. Time to start the mods
