Say within the past year and half it has happened about 6 times, the radio starts to scan the preset channels like someone is bluetooth connected to the vehicle.
Doesn't matter if i'm listening to FM or XM. And the dash display starts show the radio information.

I have had the Onstar folks supposedly update the software via download. but it happens now and again.

Anyone else?

It's a bad LCD screen. Happened once under warranty on my 2017. Fast forward 3 years and the GM one failed again......no surprise. I went to youtube and did some research. Then I went to the rain forest and bought a complete new screen with a 3 year warranty. It's a bit of a job to replace it.........set aside 3 hours and some beers to get it done. You have to disassemble a lot of the dash to get to it. Then, it's a slow process to take apart the radio and put a new one in. My radio has the hidden compartment, not sure if all do or not, but it's quite intricate. Totally doable with basic skills if you just take your time.

the screen is not broken.

its like someone is access the "entertainment system" and scrolling through the stations..software..

I've had it happen before too. From other posts it's not the screen it's the touch part going bad thinking that someone is touching it doing those things when they aren't.
