2016 Yukon Spark Plug Change

Hello all,

I just wanted to share pictures of the spark plugs I removed on my 2016 GMC Yukon with 96k miles. I am not sure if they were replaced at any time but decided to do it along with the wires. I was curious about plug #6, why don't the threads look burned? Could it be that it had too much anti seize applied? Or is there another explanation?

As long as the firing tip and ground electrode look good and these do, I would not worry about the very slight difference of the threads on #6.

Replace with quality parts and drive on.

Also agree. If those were my used spark plugs, I'd be very happy with the way that they look.

How hard were those to get out? Really tight or somewhat normal for plugs? Hear some horror stories about getting plugs out of aluminum heads.

I did mine about 100k. The wires were the hardest thing to get off the plug porcelain. They came right out of the head no sweat - spun by hand once loose. These aren't like the Ford modular engines.
