Our cruise control was working fine...until today. We only have 45,000 miles on this Denali and we bought it new. Can we make this repair ourselves? My husband is good with wiring. If he can repair it what parts do we need? Thanks in advance.

Is the "check engine" light on for any other problems? I've heard that if it is it may keep the cruise control from working
usually cruise control function is directly related to the brakes, so if there is a brake light out or any other kind of brake malfunction then no cruise...
one of you needs to stand behind the truck while the other pushes the brake pedal and make sure the brake lights are working is the first test.
be sure the key is on run at least because these trucks will go to sleep and the brake light will not light until the system is woke up
or if alone just back up to a glass window or other reflective surface that you can see in the mirror if the lights are working.
brake light switch is a fairly common failure and can be replaced easily.
if a fuse is blown there is usually a reason why such as a shorted wire
