Random music playing when Tahoe started

Hello, hoping for some insight on a weird thing my Tahoe does. It's a 2021 RST, just purchased about a month ago. Still learning all the electronics. Sometimes (most times) when I start it, music plays. It's random in that I don't know where it's coming from, but it is always the same type- blues/jazz/50's style I guess I'd call it. It plays for about 2-3 seconds, then it changes to whatever I had playing last time I drove it. Sometimes that is Sirius, sometimes it is Bluetooth on my phone, and sometimes it is the Spotify app on the vehicle itself. I know it isn't coming from my phone or Spotify because I don't have that genre of music. It's not the AM/FM stations because I've checked and those have always just been static. My only theory is that it is defaulting to a Sirius XM station but I cannot for the life of me find where this might be a setting. And there are so many stations I haven't been able to test my theory because I don't know which station to check to see if that particular song is playing.

It isn't really an issue, more just weird and driving me crazy to not know where it is coming from. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Can you post a recording in case no one knows what it is off hand? Does it coincide with your monitors booting up?

I haven't gotten a recording but I will next time I drive it. It is during boot up.

I would try going in the radio settings and remove any "saved" or "favorite" stations as a test to see if it that resolves it. and/or change the presets to static as well. just as a test you can change it back anytime later

Ahh I will try this. I changed the Sirius presets but didn't think about the AM/FM ones.

If all else fails go to the dealer and ask themm if there's a software update for the radio

I have an App on my phone for streaming just 1 radio station. For what ever reason often when I start the vehicle and my phone connects this App somehow launches and plays this 1 specific radio station that the App supports.

Now not 100% but if I remote start the vehicle, then get in and push the start button, the phone then has to connect, but usually a Sirius favorite is playing since my phone was not in range when the remote start was used. The phone then connects shortly after the start button is pushed, but I am pretty sure this 1 App does not start at this point.

Try leaving your phone in the house so it can’t connect.
