First post. I have a 2017 Tahoe. Curious if there is a front and rear bolt-on brake upgrade swap that uses factory Chevy parts? Thanks in advance.

Funny you should ask..

I was digging around to see what would bolt on and easier on my wallet than <$1K

Exactly what I did. Couldn't be happier with the performance increase. These are the brakes GM should have put in these from the factory. You might need some small wheel spacers though, depending on your wheels. I got away without them...barely.

Walkerfever what parts did you use exactly? What year vehicle? Did you have to do any modifying at all? Did you have to upgrade the master cylinder? Thanks

Calipers, pads, and rotors are all from a 2019+ Silverado (2021+ Yukon\Tahoe). I personally bought 97P17504A and 97P17504B from Rockauto, then returned my stock calipers for a core. As for the rotors and pads, I found some NTO rotors and pads on eBay. It wasn't needed, but I went ahead and replaced my hoses with some stainless steel lines. Everything was a direct bolt in, minus using 9\16" washers to spacer the calipers out from the knuckle (centers the rotor between the pads) and making sure the dust shield doesn't rub the new rotors. I had to bend my shields out just a hair by the tie rod ends, but I might have bumped it during the install. I did nothing to the master cylinder at all.

Including the stainless hoses, the entire project put my back $374.86 (after my core refund).

Thanks for the info. Do you have any photos of the swap? Also, is there a noticeable difference in the upgrade from the stock brakes?
