Honestly if you are buying a suv bc of power, you see buying the wrong suv. Sure is nice to have a bit more power but the thing still a tank. Tahoe LT fully loaded and go for looks rather than speed. GTR for speed. At least that's how I see my garage, plus my race bikes lol

Ps: this is just my opinion

No kidding? I haven’t seen any yet. Swung by ford yesterday and didn’t see any expeditions in the lot...

They were test vehicles...there were a few more in different color and wheel options but didn't get a pic.

Spent the day at the Anaheim Car Show on Saturday. The Chevy and GMC areas were well stocked with Tahoes and Yukons. A white Tahoe RST was there, maybe the same one used for the spring presentation. Looked great, but it was stickered at $71K - without the Performance Package. Heard many people attracted to it, looking at the price and asked where the 6.2 was for 71K.

GM has a pricing problem. There are a lot of 3-seaters out there for 71K+. Not as many are useful for serious towing, but we all know that many folks just use them as better looking minivans. Sure did look sweet, though.

I totally agree. All 3 brands are really $45,000 trucks with options that bring up to over $100,000 at the Escalade level. But man do they look great!

Agree. Although i dont think it seemed as bad in person and Outside of the rear it did have a nice classy look. However, I believe the expedition rear will be worse. This is why I'm considering giving gm another shot and trading in our 15 for a 17. Plan to test a couple within the week and hoping the ride will be much improved compared to our 15.

I'm going to wait until the LA Auto Show in November. They had a Lincoln and Ford versions at the OC Show, but both were the XL versions and they were locked.

I went through all this during the first of this year. I just couldn't see paying $8K to $10K more for a GMC Yukon Denali when I could get a very nice Chevrolet Tahoe Premier. It's all I needed to get from point A to point B. I am enjoying my new 2017 very much and also enjoy not having a vehicle decision hanging over my head!
