2017 Yukon XL 2nd row seat rattle

Purchased a 2017 Yukon XL SLT and the passenger side 2nd row seat rattles at the latch. If someone is sitting in it the rattle goes away. Has anyone else had this problem and how did you fix it? I was thinking of a thick soft rubber under the carpet to cushion the seat but haven't tried it yet.

If it is a metal latch I would probably take a crow bar to it and bend it just enough to not rattle anymore

I had to have the dealer replace the latch under warranty. Have it changed out....they have newer parts that solve the problem.

Any chance you’ve still got the paperwork that shows the newer part numbers?

I wrapped electrical tape around the floorboard latch that the seat latches onto.

It went away. For a while...
