2017 Yukon XL Roof Rack

Anyone have experience with a roof rack similar to the Smittybilt Defender series (https://www.4wheelparts.com/Exterio...504.aspx?t_c=3&t_s=82&t_pt=3426&t_pn=S/B45504), but on a newer Yukon/Tahoe/Suburban? No luck at 4wheel parts this morning...

I want something I can bolt a spare tire to on the roof.

Any advice, ideas, and/or pics would be great!

Look at Rhino Rack’s Pioneer Platform. It’s low profile, and they have a lot of attachments for it. You’ll need aftermarket cross bars to support the weight, but there are multiple options from Yakima, Thule, and Rhino Rack.

Ask yourself if you really want to have a spare tire on your roof? Sure it can look pretty cool, but do you want to have to lift it up there, take it down, and Make your truck more top heavy?
